Can't use a shared folder on a XP Pro machine

I installed a drive on an XP Pro machine and I shared it out with full permissions set. I can see the drive from other computers but when I try to copy files to it or create new folders I receive a "access is denied" error. Can anyone tell me what to do to correct the problem?

How did you set it up to give full permission to who? Are you logging into the share with a account that uses a pasword?

I setup the shared drive with an admin acct to give full permissions to everyone.

I did'nt make the shared drive password protected.

Whats odd about this is that I have another drive on that machine setup the same way and I don't have a problem with that one

Well if the share permissions are the same on both drives maybe security setting are not right. The 2 permissions are combined and the lesser rights are the ones used

Thanks for the help, it was the security settings that needed tweaking. I'm good to go.
