Can't upload with my router.

I have a D-Link 713P Wireless A/P router and I am unable to do any type of uploading on the net. Be it posting message on forum, attach file to an email, submitting big amount of information on a website. When I tried to do any of those tasks, it would just time out on me. This doesn't happen when I have my DSL modem hooked up directly to my PC. It only happens when I have the DSL modem hooked up to the router then from router to my PC. I tried to enable DMZ for my PC IP but that didn't fix it. I tried to specify the ports 80(http), 21(ftp), 25(smtp), 110(pop3), etc. on the router but it didn't work. This also happens on my D-Link 704 router. Also tried the latest firmware and also tried it on a different computer. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Thanks.

I am using PPPOE with my DSL connection.

I can't even delete more than 10 junk mails at a time in hotmail. I have to choose 10 or less, delete and then choose 10 more to delete.

It seems that the upload stops at 8K(8192bytes) So, if any upstream activity exceeds 8k in one session, it will time out on me. Already contacted D-Link about this and they have yet to reply(it's been a week) Any ideas people?
