Can't update profile info?

I'm logged in. I can post. When I go to "Profile" and change my Email address I get a popup saying "ERROR: You do not have permission to access this forum. Error Code: 578".
 
Try this:

Either turn off any firewalls or anti-virus protectors (Norton does not like fusetalk), and then try to update your profile and then re-enable the software.

Or maybe you are trying to use one of the banned email account providers. You can find a list here.

i closed my old netscape account and AT doen't allow hotmail . . . i alsowondered why i couldn't update my profile. 😛

i guess i better sign up with another e-mail address before i reformat and/or lose my password. . . .
