When I made firefox my default browser I knew I had to reinstall my media player in order to stream certain types of videos. Problem is I can't uninstall it. It's not in add/remove programs and when I try to delete it, it gives me an error saying "You don't have permission to do this".

Anything else I can try doing?

I believe you can't exactly install Windows 11.

However, I am not sure what player you have been using in the past... but I'm assuming it was WMP10. You can download WMP10 off the internet and install that, and it should write over the WMP 11..

if that doesn't work.
.. it might be because your not admin. Try to get into the adminstrator account and try to uninstall, seems like "You don't have permission to do this", means exactly what it says.

You might want to move from the "General Hardware" forum over to the "Operating System" forum to ask this question.
Just a thought...
