Can't uninstall/re-install Phisix - Driversweeper doesn't work either.

I'm trying to re-install an older version of phisx, so I can play Dragon Age Origins (I'm missing the phisxloader dll), but I can't uninstall my current phisx driver from the control panel or with Driver Sweeper. Doesn't work.

The control panel "uninstall program" application displays this message: "There was a problem starting C:\Program Files\Nvidia Corporation\Installer2\installer.[etc etc]. The specified module could not be found."

And none of the Phisx files show up in the Driver Sweeper queue after I hit "Analize".

As far as I can tell I don't have the files asked for in the prompts, or even some of the folders, but the phisx installer acts like I do, and doesn't let me install what it sees as an older version of phisx.

I've tried switching between 314.07, 314.14 and 314.21 with no luck...

Some fixes I've seen involve copying the contents of the "phisx" folder inside program files/nvidia corporation, but I don't have it, apparently (the phisx folder).

Any suggestions?

Sounds like the install has gone fubar.....I would uninstall all NV drivers and software, reboot to safe mode then check the registry (search for nvidia) and delete the software entries....you might want to do a reg backup first....
Then ensure you have no folders for nvidia under program files, then boot back to normal desktop and do the phys install before GPU driver install (that is if you want older version of phyx, any reason)..
