can't turn on wireless

My Verizon router for some reason stopped sening out a beacon even though it says the radio is on and sending out an SSID. I didn't change anything, all of the sudden it just stopped working. I've reset it, changed all the settings, even uploaded a new BIOS and still doesn't work. Sooo, I tried to connect an old 4-port Netgear wireless router to it as an access point. Somehow, I managed to make it so the wireless is disengaged in the Netgear router as well. I can't even turn on the radio - the Country and "Radio Enable" are both grayed out... like it won't even let me enable the wireless. I've reset and uploaded 3 different BIOSes to the Netgear and it still won't let me enable the wireless. So weird. Anyone know anything about this???
