Can't turn off email notifications

I have unticked everything at alert preferences, even unfollowed the topic i was following but still getting email notifications if someone post something.

Any suggestions?
 
Alert preferences only govern alerts, which show up as little notification counters while you're on the forums. The settings you're looking for are under the general preferences: https://forums.anandtech.com/account/preferences

It does not retroactively affect threads you're already following, so you'll need to unfollow each one manually; an inconvenience, but unavoidable.
