Can't turn AGP on

I can't seem to raise my AGP, from the ATI control panel it shows it's not on, then i turn it up to 8x, it says to restart, i do so, then it's still off when i come back. I know my mobo supports 8x agp, i used to have it on. Any idears?
 
your solution is that you need to reinstall your motherboard chipset drivers. AGP will then be fixed up superdupper.
