Can't Transfer Digital Camera Video File

I was out scewing around in the Everglades today, and took about thirty pictures. I also shot a video, maybe three or four minutes long.
Plugged the camera, (Canon S2 IS), into my PC to upload the files. All the pics transferred fine. But the video file won't. All I get is the copying files logo on my screen, and then after about a minute it shuts down. No error message of any kind. But nothing has transferred to my hard drive. The video I shot will play perfectly on the camera, though. I never had this problem before. Anyone have any ideas? Thank you.

Instead of transferring it from the camera using a USB cable, try plugging the camera's memory stick into a card reader on the computer (the better and faster method of transferring file from the camera BTW) and see if you can copy the video that way.

Hope this helps...

Would if I could, FP. But I don't have a card reader. Still, I'm confused. The video file works perfectly well on the camera itself. And I have transferred several of these previously without a hitch.
