Can't sync OpenZaurus with my windows comp.

So I just installed OpenZaurus and I love it, but I can't get it sync with Windows.

When I put the Z in the cradle, there is a USB net connection established (my network places>properties>connections) and I see the device connected, but Qtopia desktop can't see it. Also, I can't ping it from the CLI or do anything but see the connection being there.

I tried the suggestions here, but they don't work...

I don't really care about calendar and personal contacts syncing, I just want to get files on to the Z.

On my SL-5500 I liked OZ but I NEVER got it to sync with Windows, so I went back to the Sharp ROM, I liked the newest one the best, was it 3.1?
 
I've never gotten OZ to sync either, but since you only want to get files off the Z then may I recommend WinSCP. You see, openzaurus comes with scp support out of the box so you have to use a client to transfer the files. As for getting yourself able to see the zaurus in the first place, I'm going to go ahead and assume that you're using the usb cradle so I'll point you to this.
