Cant Stream Video on my Desktop (but can on my laptop)... Same LAN

For the life of me i cant figure out whats wrong...

I am unable to stream my class lectures on my newly rebuilt desktop..

Athlon 2400+ (2.0ghz)
512 PC2100
80gb Maxtor
Radeon 9700
Soltek nforce2 mobo (with built in LAN)
M-Audio Revolution 7.1 Sound Card

When i try to stream my lectures, it starts buffering, and usually never makes it to the lecture. Occationallt the lecture will start (but only with audio, no video) and then a few seconds in it will crap out again and start buffering)

However, when i try and do this on my laptop (wireless into the same LAN), i have no problems at all...

So, could it be the built-in lan on my mobo? Or should i check something else?
