Dual boot XP and win98SE
Have videocam plugged in via USB port
Videocam installed in win98Se-- all working well
Videocam not supported in XP-- that's ok!
BUT here's the problem:
Everytime I boot into XP the wizard pops up saying it found new hardware and prompts me to look for drivers. I point it to the location, it can't do it and I eventually get to a button that says "Don't prompt me again to install this hardare" which I select and hit FINISH.
Then the HELP and SUPPORT thing pops up to check with MS about it, which I also reject.
How can I stop being prompted to install this hardware? It doesn't work, I know it doesn't work, and it's ok.
I know I could unplug it, but I'd rather tell XP to ignore it.
Thanks
