Ok, after ten minutes whether I'm surfing the net or not, I won't be able to access the internet. Using a new motherboard, the Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe, have DL'd all drivers and even gone to their site and DL'd the LAN driver.

I'm on a shared network, the other PC never loses it's connection. If I go into my network places it shows the connection as operational and still connected. Yet I still can't access the net.

When I lose connection I can ping my IP addy, but I can't ping my router.

Any insights?

I built a new 64 system and the onboard nic was dead within an hour. I sucks but it's bad to the tried and true pci nic, not worth rmaing the motherboard.

Yeah but this board has two NICs. I thought the same thing you did, but then I didn't think I could fry two NICs so easily, or maybe I could?
