I put DWORD titled Coolbits in NVTweak (regedit) with hexadecimal 18

Why can't I SLi still? 🙁

GTX 460 1gB, GTX 460 768mB...

are 768mb and 1gb gtx460 cards even compatible in the first place? even if they are why would you buy a 1gb model if you already had a 768mb? you will still be limited to 768mb so the 1gb card was a silly purchase. and 768mb will defeat many of the benefits of upgrading to two cards since 768mb will limit you from running the settings in Metro 2033 and such that two gtx460 cards are capable of.

He means the Coolbits registry tweak hasn't been officially supported since the Geforce GT/S 8800's were released a few years ago.

Also you need Identical GPU's with identical amounts of memory for SLI. The Geforce GTX 460 1GB is actually quite a bit different than the Geforce GTX 460 768MB.
