Can't setup VPN on a Windows 2000 server

I tried to configure it but failed, can't get it done ok.

Anyone has a link for a step by step guide that show how to do this right? This is a domain server also so I should use routing and remote access at admin tools for this.

By the way, I'm using a Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router which has:
IPSec Passthrough: Enable

PPTP Passthrough: Enable

L2TP Passthrough: Enable

So I assume that I shouldn't need to configure anything else on the router.
Am I correct or there is some port forwarding to do or some other thing?

Check the firewall section for a TCP 1723 entry and a PPTP_GRE entry.

..Then connect to your WAN IP address using your MS VPN client from the WAN!!!

My concern is .. are you using a firewall rule or else?

I believe you still need to forward ports through the router , to the server.
Can you VPN to it from inside the network?

For a PPTP VPN, you need to forward TCP Port 1723 and pass through GRE Protocol. In the end, it may or may not work, depending on your particular router/firmware. Home-class Routers are often iffy at GRE passthrough. Most Linksys routers work, though....
