Im on the DOS window where i have to choose the option of either choosing to enter either as a new user or a returning user.

Either of the options(new and old user) doesnt accept my e-mail address.

If you enter the second choice and then enter the correct email address you set your account up with it should work.
What exactly is it doing?

Hey thanks for the reply😀
Either option(new user and returning user) doesnt accept my e-mail address🙁

yep, it has internet connection...actually connected on my home LAN via router.
yep, submitted the 1st WU already and still nada.

Thanks in advance!

2 questions ,are you sure you typed your email adress corectly the 1st time?(you recieved your password right?)
Have you checked out your accounts stats at SETI to see if your account is recognised?

If all else fails, you can copy the entire S@H folder from a crunching machine, then simply run the S@H exe.

To give us a better understanding of your login problem, do you mind sharing (or PM us) your S@H email address?

I've seen what you describe when I was trying to login(with a new machine) and connect to a SetiQueue instead of directly to Berkeley. 😉

In those instances, I simply connected to Berkeley, got the unit, let it crunch a moment or two, then stopped the client, and restarted with the "-proxy" settings for whatever queue it was going to crunch to.

Thanks for all the replies.

Well its seems the address is messed up🙂

I finally was able to log in and setup the other PC.
all i did was type in my emaill address as small letters: roreen_o@msn.com

I was pretty sure that i typed in my correct address when i set my first computer up: roreen_O@msn.com

Big "O", small "o"...what the heck....at least their both working fine now🙂

My primary computer btw is an AMD XP 1800
Secondary cimputer is a P4 1.6a,not overclocked...lame-o mother board.....so if youre selling one of your newer overclockable mobo's lmk...the chip ran 2.4 before according to the guy i bought it from.

Glad you got it all worked out! Welcome to the TeAm. You should pump out some nice numbers with those rigs!

Did you get your password? Without a correct email address and password you will not be able to make any changes to your seti account if you should need to do so in the future.

Make sure you write down the password SETI to gave you (you did get the password number right?) ,if your email account ever goes dead you can still alter your account details
