Can't set security settings on Linksys WRT54GL

I just got a Linksys WRT54GL wireless router. I am connected to it through a DLink DWL-G122 USB adapter. I am on the screen where it lets you set the type of security you want. The choices are:

Disable
WPA Personal
WPA Enterprise
WPA2 Personal
WPA2 Enterprise
RADIUS
WEP

I wanted to use WPA2 Personal, but whenever I select one of the choices from the pulldown menu and hit the "save" button to save the changes, nothing happens. If I navigate away from the security page and come back, the security is still set to the default, 'Disable'.

How do I enable security on this thing? The newegg ad for the DWL-G122 says it supports WPA2, although it isn't mentioned on the DLink website. Even still, I can't get the security to accept any settings, even plain WEP.

What is going on here?

OK, turns out my Proxomitron ad filter/popup blocker was preventing the security settings from being changed manually. Just a heads up to anyone else who might happen to have this problem in the future.
