I have a 1280X1024 native resolution LCD (Starlogic Model ???17ANA.)
My main PC crashed last week so I pulled a spare PC out of the closet to use.
My main PC has an ATI Radeon 9800 graphics card. I ran it at 1280X1024 resolution on the Starlogic LCD.
The spare PC has an ATI Radeon 9500 graphics card. When I set the resolution to 1280 X 1024 the screen 'pans'...i.e. part of the viewable area of the screen is always outside the boundaries of the monitor. It pans around as you move your mouse around.
If I set tit to 1024 X 768 then 100% shows up on the monitor. however the quality is poor since teh monitor resolution is native 1280 X 1024.
Any ideas what is going on? I have replaced the monitor driver a few times and have the latest ATI drivers installed.
