Workstation - New(er) isntall of WinXP SP2 (FW off)
Server - Win2k Pro running RIAD5 card for storage drive.
I can copy from the Server to the workstation without problems. However, if I go to copy from the workstation to the server across the LAN it simply doesn't go. Or more accurately goes... VERY VERY slowly. trying to copy some larger files (700MB-2GB) and when I cut/paste it, it gives me the "Moving files..." dialog box with the animated papers, and the Time Remaining starts at like 200+ mins. Then the time remaining text disappears and the papers just keep moving, but no progress, no LAN traffic. CPU/memory usage is all fine too.
I can copy the other direction jsut fine though with no slow down at all.
Only thing of note is that the source drive on the workstation is a nearly full 160gig drive. Maybe the lack of free space is causing it? Ive freed up like 5GB though and still nothing.
