I had this problem a while back and someone posted a fix for it but I cannot find it with the search.
I can't select some of the audio option when others are selected. For example when I select line out, I can't select cd audio or microphone or the line out will de-select itself. This is all within creative's software.
Sombody had a fix for it by going into windows media options and deselecting everything and then going back into it and reselcting everything or somehting similar to that. It sounds strage but it actually worked.
