Cant seem to work.........

.....Simcity 4

I use the no CD crack file....and when I open the app, nothing seems to happen....only the bouse becomes busy for 5 secs....then its normal again.....
It works fine on my Dad's PC, exactly the sam,e but eithout the Geforce2 MX 400
