Can't seem to pull up ipcfg. in Win2k.

I have a Netgear RT314 set up. I'm trying to run a UT dedicated server on one system. I get it going, but the other system can't find it in the game. So then I'm trying to manually plug in that ip, but I can't pull up the winipcfg program. How is this done?

Any ideas why I can't find my UT server? does the router need a specific setting?

You need to forward the port that you are using to your computer using menu 15.

You put your computer ip and the port that ut runs on. Give me a sec and i will try to find the port for you.

You can choose your port, just make sure that you choose the same port when you create your ut server. I knew that.

I set the port to 7779, plugged in the ip, and fired it up. can't get it to work.
I get this message on the UT server console:
AInternetlink Resolve failed: Can't find host master0.gamespy.com (WSAHOST_NOT_FOUND)

This is NT. It is not the same as in 98.
