Can't seem to fall asleep

You know. I shift between days and night ever 3 months in security... I can't sleep during the nights, so when I work days, it's a nightmare. Tylenol PM is my friend... Check it out and see if it helps. Plan 9 hours of sleep though...
Tas.

And for those that recommend alcohol--I've been drinking for about 7 hours now, and I'm still not tired. And I have an incredible amount of stuff to do tomorrow.... I should have taken the T-PM when I got home off work. Oh well though. Life's a virgin.
Tas.

hey
i've been thinking
why don't we get out of here tonight?
get in the car and just start driving
fvck them if they can't take a joke
right?
I've fallen asleep again
and when I wake up
you won't be here
don't you think I don't know why?
don't you think I don't know why?
I've been asleep.... for years

(see right through me)
(you can see right through me)
(you can see right through me)

herbs like valerian and passion flower (in tabs or caps from the health food shop)?

over the counter sleep pills?

limit caffeine, cola, coffee in the afternoon/ evening?

I got some "simply sleep" pills from the store, from the makers of tylenol, and they put me out pretty good, and make me not wanna get up.

Valerian didn't work for me, I just try and make sure I have hade enough water and that the room isn't too warm.

how funny, water works for me too, sometimes if I can't sleep I'll drink a heap of water and fall asleep. But for me I can't be in a cold room, the cold keeps me awake.
