Can't run WinNT4 on a VP6

I can not get WinNT4 to run on the following machine:

VP6
dual 933 P3 (not overclocked)
1GB ram (4x256 dimms)
4GB WD IDE drive (on primary master)
IDE CDRom
GeForce2 MX
(that's all that I have in the machine)

I can get it installed but soon after (within three minutes) the OS boots it locks up solid. I thought that maybe SP6 would help but it won't run for long enough to get it installed. I did get the latest 4in1 drivers installed but it didn't make a difference. I've reinstalled three times with the same results every time. Has anyone seen this problem before and is there a fix for it?

Why arn't you using w2k, just curious.

Try looking for a way to slipstream NT4 and SP6a. I am having dificulty but I know it can be done, I did it with w2k and sp2.

What is your exact issue, how did you get the via drivers installed?
