here are my specs

3000+ winchester
msi k8n neo2 plat
2x512 crucial ballistix pc3200
6800 gt
500w ultra connectx psu

Everything is at stock including the cpu, ram, and vid card. Ram setting is 2.2.2.6 1T 2.8v

I cant run memtest error free with the 2 sticks in dimm1+2 or 3+4. I even tried different timings and even 2T and still get errors. Even lowered ram voltage to no avail.

Wierd thing is that when there is one stick at a time in dimm1 or 3 they pass memtest. I even primed95 my pc with just 1 stick in for 9hours with no errors. so what do you think is causing my ram to get errors in dual channel?

I think 3 possible things. bad memory controller in cpu, bad mobo, or my mobo hate the ballistix. Can any1 help me pinpoint what is causing this?
 
i think you diagnosed your problem well yourself.

my bet is that it might be a bios issue. have you tried a different bios? this will help eliminate the board as a possibility.

also, have you tried different memory? again this will eliminate the board as a possibility.

my money is on the bios. i got 10000 of errors on memtest with my board before i flashed the bios... after flash, all my errors disappeared.
 
I dunno, but my mobo or whatever doesnt like running dual channel. I just run single channel, its really not that big of a difference.
