Can't run 3D Mark 05

I keep getting "program encountered an error" and it stops. Any idea what is causing it? System consists os the following,

have an ASUS A8N sli Premium mobo, AMD 64 3700 San Diego, Maxtor DiamondMax 10 6B250S0 250GB 7200 RPM SATA150 HD and OCZ EL Platinum Revision 2 1GB (2 x 512MB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) and a Radeon X800XL 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Video Card.

I figure it should be able to finish the test with this hardware. MAybe I should try reinstalling it........

Any tips?

Yep, running 8.18. During the first test sequence, for about a minute into it the highest fps I got was 30...
Seems low....
