Can't remove web page items after import to Excel

I have a web page I imported into Excel (2003, if it matters). The web page has a regular button, a couple radio buttons and a couple text entry fields, which I can't figure out how to remove in Excel.

I've tried:
- Right-clicking (no context menu is generated)
- Selecting with the drawing tool (it will not select them)
- Selecting the cells that the stuff appears to be in, with an extra two cells around each side, and using Clear Contents (nothing)
- Excel help file

Any thoughts?
