can't remove the ATI DVD software

I would like to remove the ATI dvd software, but using add/remove programs in the control panel doesn't work.

The original installation of the dvd was bad so I can't use it.
But now I can't remove it or upgrade it either.

Any suggestions?

When you say using add/remove programs in the control panel doesn't work, what do you mean?

It is not in the drop down menu?

You get a error message?

It goes thru the motions and looks as though it is removing it but when you check, it is still there?

Please clarify.
