Can't remote control behind my router!

This has happened in a few cases. I have previosuly tried to access my home server behind my network, and it doesn't work. But when i access it out side from another network, it's fine. I am trying to remote control my iphone right now, and it's a no go!

I have a 2wire wireless dsl modem/router from AT&T. Any ideas?

I think it's because of my windows 7

When you are on the same local network with the server, use the local IP address (i.e 192.168.0.xxx), not the public IP address of your Internet connection.
