Can't reinstall powerdvd (existing version wont uninstall)

I needed to reinstall powerdvd ultra. But it wouldn't uninstall. So i had to do it in safe mode. I had to manually delete the folder and also all the registry keys.

So I go to reinstall and it's saying that there is an existing version on my computer and needs to unsinstall it. So press "yes". Nothing happens and the window closes.

So where is the installer finding this old version info?? I've deleted everything. Something somewhere is telling it that it's still on there. Anyone know what this could be? I'm on Vista. I swear this powerdvd software pisses me off. I can't watch HD-DVD movies because of an error 0103. So I tried anyDVD. That workded but through VGA. The trial ran out. I'm not paying $80 to buy another program. It wont let me patch my powerdvd. So I'm trying to reinstall. But now I cant. It's a joke. I really need help.
