Can't receive gmail email in outlook 2003

I have my gmail account set up on outlook 2003 but I can't receive messages. I can send them without any problem. When I click the send/receive button to check for new mail, it times out trying to receive and I get the following error message:

Task 'Gmail - Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC0F): "The connection to the server was interrupted. If the problem continues, contact your server administrator or ISP.

I have another IMAP email accont setup in outlook and can receive from it without any problems.

Can anyone help?

Although you have probably looked at this, here is a guide to double check that outlook 2k3 is setup correctly (I made a typo in the ssl ports when setting up my account that caused some headache): http://gmail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=13278&topic=194

Yeah I saw that and actually used that to set mine up, but it still doesnt work.

Ensure that SSL has been enabled, and the correct ports are set on the Advanced tab.
