Can't Re-install XP after System problems

I've got a system I built for a friend and it was working fine for about 3 months... then things went very wrong. Originally the problem was power... a couple of resets... then the problems became worse and I decided to re-install Windows XP. When I tried to install XP I was hit with a blue screen error, right after the formating process. The error was "Page_Fault_In_NonPaged_Area." Tried again, same blue screen but different error "PFN_List_Currupt." Long story short I've replaced the ram, motherboard, and power supply... I'm still stuck in the same place... The most recent blue screen error is "Memory_Management."
Also I've tried to install XP onto 3 different hard drives (all part of system).
Any help would be most appreciated.

Motherboard: GA-7NNXP
CPU: AMD Athlon XP 3000
Ram: 2 x Corsair 512 DDR
Video Card: Radeon 9800 Pro 128
Sound Card: Sound Blaster Audigy Gamer
Hard Drives: 2 x 36GB Western Digital (SATA)
2 x 60GB Maxtor
CDRW/DVD: 2 x Lite On 48/24/48/16

First, it's a good habit to run MemTest before installing the OS. It could be the culprit, but probably not.

I ran into a very similar problem with a bad CPU. It was different in some ways. Also, if you have a cooling problem on the northbridge you could see errors as such arise. I've been reading where people have trouble passing memtest, but instaling additional cooling on the NB helps it to pass. Even a fan into an open case would alleviate the issue.

Just some suggestions, though it could be lots of things.

Have you tested the memory using memtest or something similar? Sounds like it may be a memory issue, as this is usually the culprit when Windows refuses to install.

EDIT - beaten to it by slammy1.

Thanks Guys :D ... it turn out to be one of the memory sticks...
I was able to install XP... but now I'm still having a problem with power. This was a problem even before I changed the power supply, Motherboard, case and Ram. Basically whenever i close the front door of the case (or probably knock the case in any way) the system reboots. WTF??? Any ideas?
Thanks

Also could be a bad reset or power on switch. Is this a cheap case ? Or an Antec or the like ?

Thanks for the replys. :) I'm pretty sure about the ram now... although I'm going to buy one more stick to be sure. As for the power issue, the case is one of those new Z-Alien from A-Top. I moved the components to this case after this power issue came up in an Aspire case. I thought it was a power supply issue so I replaced the whole case. any ideas? Strange though how I would get similar errors with so much new equipment? The only stuff that's left rom the original system are the 4 hard drives, CPU, video card and sound card, everything else is new.
