Can't Raise Video Refresh rate on DVI LCD?

Hey all,

I have a Dell 1800FP LCD Monitor, XFX GF 6800NU using latest Nvidia drivers and the LCD monitor drivers that came on CD with the LCD, connected via DVI.

For some reason though - the refresh rate seems to be locked at 60hz, I cannot change it. When I go into display settings, advanced, monitor, all that is listed is 60hz, does anyone have any ideas on how I can get it to 75? I am 100% sure I was running 75hz when I had it conneted via analog.

Thanks.

Check out the specs though:

Factory Preset Resolution Modes: 720 x 400 @ 70 Hz, 640 x 480 @ 60 Hz, 640 x 480 @ 75 Hz, 800 x 600 @ 60 Hz, 800 x 600 @ 75 Hz, 1024 x 768 @ 60 Hz, 1024 x 768 @ 75 Hz, 1152 x 864 @ 75 Hz, 1280 x 1024 @ 60 Hz, 1280 x 1024 @ 75

Shouldn't it run @ 75?

Thanks.

LCDs don't refresh. All the pixels are on all the time.

As for the image change rate, 60 Hz means 16 ms, still good enough for the fastest switching panels we have.
