There is a story/vid about exoskeleton in todays dailytech. Halfway down it shows a black rectangle with a start triangle in middle
A mouse over shows the correct reaction and title link also highlights, but clicking on it does absolutely nothing' I have also noticed this recently on other sites. However when I go to their site I can play the video fine. Also anything on youtube or any site, except these square black rectangles with no navigation icons.
I have the latest shockwave flash plugin, and I cant recall it happening before when I used FF 6, now installed 8.01
This is annoying to say the least
Turned off my Bitdefender 2012 antiphish and anti infected webpage options
Can anyone here play the vid with FF 8?
Can anyone even tell me what kind of vid this is?
Do you see controls with a mouseover?
Thoughts?
UPDATE!!!
Well, I triple boot: Win7 X64/Win7 X64/Mint
So I looked at my second Win 7 to see what was dif and I noticed in FF options/applications my second X64 had no association with flv at all, but in my first x-flv was associated with the GOM player I had installed bout a week ago. When I installed it, it added a FLV file association, but also in my browser. So I went in Win 7 file assoc and changed flv to WMP. Everything works again
The funny part is it only happened on embedded vids, not things like youtube, which actually kinda makes sense.
Mind numbing insanity.
