Can't Play Multiplayer in Crysis?

PS, I tried enabling it via the multiplayer menu screen but I'm still recieving the "Server Authentication Failed" error...

Any other possibilities?
 
Did you install PunkBuster with the game or after?

Check out the PunkBuster FAQ. I had a similar problem with COD4 and I had to do a manual update of PunkBuster before I could actually connect.
 
Frackal, are you using RivaTuner by any chance ?

If so, make sure that you enable the protection processes, during the installation you can select or un-select both types of protections, or after the installation, you can still very easily enable or disable one or both via the Power User options. The protection process will allow you to play any on-line games that use PunkBuster as an anti-cheat method.

If you're not using RivaTuner then I don't know what to say, it works just fine on my side.
 
Actually I am using Rivatuner, but I found out how to get it to work (googled)


Apparently many are having this problem.

You have to go into your Crysis CD to the "tools" folder and activate crysis_tool.exe , re-enter the registration code, and it should work, or at least it did for me
