Can't play 10meg .avi file

When i play it w/Media player v6.4, it says 100% of 1k at the bottom of the screen, then closes.

i'm using the latest kazaalite codec. the Gspot says i have all the correct codecs.

what's wrong?

Do you have WMP9 installed ? I'm very much into multimedia crap now and I can't do without it... don't like it, but can't live without it.

Also try Irfanview and PowerDVD as a last resort.
