Cant ping from desktop to laptop (works the other way)

I have a wireless laptop connection with a Belkin 54g router (128-bit WEP encryption) and I have a desktop with a wire connection to the same router. I can ping the desktop from the laptop, but not the other way round. What am I missing? Also, there is a wireless USB networking key attached to my TIVO, and I can ping that from both the desktop and laptop. Any advice?

Any software firewalls on the lappy?

Ahh, that was it, thanks, works now.

Edit: It was McAfee Firewall that was preventing any ping replies from the desktop.
