Can't "Paste" on Right Click in Firefox 3

Odd, but annoying problem I've been experiencing in Firefox 3- I am no longer able to "Paste" with the right-click of the mouse (paste is grayed-out).

I have to use "Control-V". It hasn't been a problem in the past. I'm not sure exactly when it began, but it seems it started after the last Firefox 3 update.

Any help would be appreciated.

Googling tells me this 'copy & paste' issue happens in FF3 only but sadly there appears to be no concrete solution for this problem. Btw, do you have 'Diigo Bookmark Addon' on your FF, if you do, I read here that disabling that might be of help.

I have FF 3.0.7 installed, and have no problem with Copy and Paste with the Right Click. I have no add-ons installed. Maybe that is the key?

I've used FF 2 more then 3 and added 5-6 add-on's without any faults. I think this copy-paste problem is only on FF3, so I gather from googling.

3.0.8 is latest 😛

It comes and goes for me, often if I restart Firefox it'll start working fine again.

Did you update to 3.0.8 and is the copy/paste function working?

Yep! Like I said - silence means it is AOK. No problem noted with copy/paste.

So, I guess this copy/paste problem might just be due to addition of certain add-ons then?
