I know this is off topic but I need everyones help. It won't post. NOthing is grounded, with only one CPU is still won't post. I have reseated the RAM and VGA several times. I even applied more AS3 just incase it was a thermal issue(didn't put much on first time). Reset the CMOS several times, triple checked jumpers, but the LED and switches aren't for sure, what color is ground out of white and green, and also white and black? Could this be a power issue. Thanks for help. Mods move this only if you have too. thanx

Try the following (if you haven't already)

Unplug everything but the fans, cpu(s), and the power supply. No video card either. You'll probably get a few error beeps, but if it powers on, you can replace/replug in things one at a time until you isolate it.

Take the board out of the case, set it on a cardboard box (away from the case/metal objects) and try it again. If that works, there's a problem in the case where it's shorting out.

If you get it to post w/o the video card/memory/etc, try taking a pencil eraser to the contacts on the card/memory. It's an old trick, but it's worked for me a time or two with finicky video cards. Of course, make sure it's clear of eraser bits before you plug it back in.

When you say won't post, does that mean the fans don't even spin up? Are you just not getting video? Are you getting any beeps?

Try plugging in your on/off switch to the opposite side of the jumper strip. Color doesn't matter. I found that what was real and what was in the manual (at least the revision I have) is the exact opposite when it comes to the front-panel, IDE and floppy connectors.

Actually, I ran a screwdriver down the side of the pins to locate the correct ones, short them and power on my system. Once I found out that my manual was backwards, all was well.

If nothing at all happens when you turn it on, your problem is most likely going to be the on/off switch connected to the wrong pins, your powersupply is dead, your 115/230-volt switch on your powersupply in the incorrect setting.
