i got a new NF7-S 2.0 and a 1700+, but i can't seem to get it to save the values to the BIOS...after i set it to 200x10 at 1.575v, my comp (its antec sonata, no PSU issues here) keeps going, but the monitor says no signal, and just like stays like that. I restart it after that (power buttton on the back) adn the settings revert to a 100x11, no overclock.
i got PC3200 memory, btw

so why can't i seem to overclock, i can get it to recognize it again as sa 1700+ at 1.5ghz?

Might try baby steps first to make sure there's something not faulty with your mb.

it works after i set the oc settings, but reverts back into a 100x11 (says 1100mhz unknown CPU)
i tried doing 10x166, same thing.

what do you mean by "beeping noise"? do you mean the one on bootup where it starts displaying memory/cpu info? if so, yes, but its registers an 1100mhz CPU and i checked CPU-Z and using the dxdiag, both say 1100mhz CPU

btw, its got an AX-7 and vantec stealth, temps reported by hardware doctor (with the abit MB package) report it as ~40 idle, and this MB doesn't have the problem of vbat over the safe limit that my other NF7-S has...

havne't tried flashing with a newer BIOS, bought this one in early june, so i'd think it would be newest, don't have a floppy on that comp though
would that be a problem?

my NF7-S overclocks fine with the most recent BIOS, not sure the BIOS revision of the other one though
