cant open new windows in IE6?

hi, just installed my sympatico high speed on my 2-week old new rig and ran all the updates etc and for some reason when i right click and select open in a new window it doesnt work...??? is this some default setting or something or what? no i dont have any pop up stoppers running....

on my moms computer, it does this. it drives me crazy. since i dont have to use it, i havent fixed it. but i have found some information about it. i just dont have anywhere to put the zip file. i can email it to you if you want. i dunno if it works, but it is potentially useful information.
 
i just uninstalled ie6 sp1 that i had installed and installed winsdows sp1 and then all the windows updates and somewhere along the way it got fixed 😛
so its all good
