can't open more then one internet explorer window, help

hey all,

I am having a problem with IE 6, i open a window and then minimize it. then i click on the IE icon on my desktop and it replaces the window that I originally minimized. Even if i hit new window (control + N), it replaces the already opened IE window.

Bottom line is, I can't have more then one internet explorer window open at a time.

Please help, any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks

You may have tried this already. here it is any way.

while you have IE6 open choose tools > Internet options > Advanced > Uncheck "<U> reuse window for launching shortcuts</U>"
