Cant Open More Than 1 IE Browser. Anybody know why??

Soon as I open a second IE after shrinking the first one down, I get the must close browser window splash from MS on the new page, the one that asks if error reporst should be sent.

Can run the on one all day long with no problem.

Just started this week. Windows 2000 pro

Help appreciated.

Format and install Windows. That's the only viable option.

just a suggestion, you might want to try the Software forum.

However, I've never heard of a "must close browser" prompt 😕 might be a Win2k thing...

run adware, its probably some evil spyware hosing you over

check the task manager. look under the performance tab to check physical memory. see if there is enough "available" memory.

and like the others have said, get ad aware or spybot search & destroy, or both. something is hogging your memory, I'm thinking.
