Hi All,
not sure what happened but I recently had a trojan on my computer and I think I've removed it. Now when I click on the "My Computer" on the desktop and then click on the C: hard drive to view what's on it, it prompts me to "open with" and gives me a list of applications. Does anybody know how to fix this so it opens up the browser normally? I can select the windows explorer from the application list but i have to do it everytime now. thanks

Sounds like the default action for "folder" was changed somehow.

Go to:

Control panel -> Folder Options -> File Types -> [NONE] Folder -> Advanced

Check and see if there's an "Open" listing present, if it is, make that default. If not, then you'll need to remake it...

New... Hit Browse... -> C:\Windows\explorer.exe -> Change the Action to "Open" -> Hit OK and close that up.

Try it out.
