Can't OC CPU w/ 2/3 divider

I am running my 3800+X2 at the settings in my SIG.

I am stable except when encoding DVD's. So I had set the divider to the 2/3 (266MHZ) last week and tightened my timings. So my ram was running @ ~182 MHz.

After overclocking some more resetting bios starting over etc, No matter what voltages and timings I use I cannot go back to the 266MHZ (2:3) divider from 2700-2800MHz. and pass POST.

I can set the divider to the 333 and overclock my ram and pass a POST. Overclocked ram by ~30MHz

I can also go way down to the 200MHz (1:2) divider and POST. This is running my 200MHz ram at 137MHz!

I have tested both of my RAM modules in Memtest. ! for 13 passes and the other for 3 passes with NO errors.

I have also reflashed my bios.

And still no luck.

So I am thinking either my Bios/board is bad now or something witrh my CPU. Could I have damaged my CPU where it would act like which I have explained? POSTS at 1:1, 1:2, 5:6
but NOT the 2:3 divider.

I appreciate any suggestions.

Cheers.

It's not rare at all for some motherboards, with some BIOS's, not to like a certain RAM divider. Either change BIOS's, or just use a higher divider, which will improve performance, anyway.
