Im posting in the general hardware section because im lost as to where this post belongs. It seems that the issue im having has so many factors that its hard to narrow down and Im not equiped to test the machine sufficiently. So here I go.
System Specs:
CPU: Pentium 4 3.0E Fan: TT Spark 7+
Motherboard: Abit IS7
Memory: OCZ Premier Series 1024MB DDR400
Video: BFG 6800 Ultra
Power Supply: EZ Media 480W
Case: Antec SuperLANBOY
HDD: Seagate 160GB
Optical Drive: MSI DVD/CDRW Combo
I was running a system test at pcpitstop.com and the results flagged my memory yellow stating it wasnt running properly. So i decided to run 8 hours worth of MemTest86...This is what I got:
Test: 5
Pass: 0
Failing Address: 0001dfc16b0 - 479.0MB
Good: efefefef
Bad: efefefed
Err Bits: 000000
Count: 63
Statistics listed on Memtest:
L1 Cache 16 11302 mb/s
L2 Cache 1024K 8169 mb/s
Memory 1024M 3012 mb/s
Do these speeds seem correct?
Test Summary
Test 0 Errors 0
Test 1 Errors 0
Test 2 Errors 4
Test 3 Errors 7
Test 4 Errors 13
Test 5 Errors 0
Test 6 Errors 39
Test 7 Errors 1
Test 8 Errors 0
Test 9 Errors 0
I then procedded to contact OCZ in the support forums to no avail. Telling me that there is a possibitly that it is my CPU or PSU.
So i purchased a diagnostic too called Hot CPU Tester 4.2.2. That just confused me even more.

Here were my results:
Hot CPU Tester Pro 4.2.2
