Can't my Radeon in the AGP slot!

I've got a Radeon, and I can't get it in the slot. The problem is the space between the little plastic fin on the
bottom and end of the card and the pins isn't big enough, and the fin is unbendable. Is this yellow fin important? What do I do?

What type of motherboard are you trying to fit it into?

I would think that the extra fin is there to help hold the card in place once
it is slipped into the AGP slot.

You might be able to file the tab down a little to fit better; but I'll defer to
other opinions on that idea.

I once had to shave off part of a modem to get it to fit into a slot. It was a smidgent too big, so I took a razor blade and was careful not to touch the metal pieces on the connector, just shaved off part of the plastic on the connector till I was able to shove it in.
