basically, i won't be doing any OCing. I only have the amd XP 1600+ to go in it. only reason i'm buying it is cause the usb ports on my ECS mb has gone bad. 🙁

any thoughts?

or should i go w/ an older Nforce chipset?
 
do you need/plan to use the extra features of the deluxe? If not, go with the 8rda+. Not sure what the price difference of the nforce vs. nforce2 is, but if its slightly more give yourself some headroom and get the nforce2. Not only will you get more advanced onboard components, but you will have the best performing chipset for your current processor.

well

made up my mind and bought the ASUS, mb it'll support the barton. that would be sweet. oh well, either way, i want something more stable than this ECS i got.
