This cannot be real :eek::

http://www.nordost.com/valhalla-reference/power-cord.php

Thanks to the application of our latest Dual Mono-Filament technology our Valhalla 2 Power Cords set an unprecedented margin of performance over the competition. The cable consists of 7 solid, silver-plated 16 AWG OFC conductors, each suspended in a Dual Mono-Filament matrix. The separate solid core conductors eliminate strand interaction, hot spots, and carbonization, which can occur in stranded cables. Unlike conventional power cables, which have propagation speeds that are less than 50% the speed of light, the Valhalla 2 Reference Power Cord has a speed of 91% the speed of light. Extruded FEP insulation used in V2’s construction is superior to all other materials. It has very low signal loss and high thermal efficiency, causing it to dissipate heat quickly. The use of FEP in a Dual Mono-Filament construction means that power is transferred more effectively, while the low resistance of the cable keeps power loss extremely low. The result... truly superb sound quality

So does that mean my equipment will turn on .00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001 seconds faster? If so I say it's worth the extra $19,990!

Why is there a speaker stand placed right where your nutsack would be if you were sitting at the desk and why is the speaker facing in the opposite direction?

Stranded or solid wire for AC power delivery to sound equipment is useless, you need litz wire specifically engineered for 60hz straight from the power plant and needs to be impedance matched and also cut in such a way that it is tuned to proper wavelength of 60hz. The individual strands should be 99.999% gold with kapton enamel and each strand twisted to 90 degrees (some experts argue 60 degrees is better but they don't know what they're talking about). It's the only way to go.

That center speaker is not attached to that pole in front of the computer. That speaker is behind the displays, whereas the pole is in front. Looks like it was setup for recording, like a mic stand.

How did my Financial / Job trouble thread turn into audio cable thread??..
I gave up on the cable for God. I wanted to start a new life back in 2015.
My life has been miserable. Like I said, the biggest problem is job. I keep losing job hence I can't pay my bills.

Anyone in this thread who showed empathy and understanding with my issues I appreciate it. Thank you.
I currently have a new job and it's been my 3rd week now. Very unusual because normally I only last anywhere from 1 day to 1 week per job. I am glad though cause I am 2 months behind on the car payment, electric bill, and internet bill. I have $8 in my bank account. I have been living off my credit card (Discover) to buy food and gas. Discover card is my savior. So I made sure that I didn't miss payment on the credit card. The bank (lender for my car loan) has been trying to reach me cause I missed payments. They had my old cell number which is different that what I have now. They contacted my Dad to have me call them back. I told them I will pay $150 this Friday and pay the remaining balance two weeks later. This is if I can keep my job that long. It would have to be a miracle for me to keep my job for months.

Two days ago I went to the apartment office to have my lease end it as my contract with them will end on July 20th. They said if I break my lease any earlier than that date I will be charged with heavy fines (2 to 4 rent fee). This apartment complex is cruel they have no mercy. So I have no choice but to move out on July 20th.

I was planning on buying a tiny house (rent-to-own) and lease a land to live in for my new place. This will save me close to $200 a month. Plus I won't be obligated to pay off the land nor the tiny house.

Another problem with my life came up. Now I am getting mentally insane but this hasn't been the first time it's 546th time. I think I am going to cancel my plan and just move out on July 20th and set up a tent to live out in the wilderness. I hope to still have a job, but live in the tent. I will still have credit card bill and car payment to make. I know some homeless poor people who live in the wilderness who I used to help. I might be able to find a spot to set my tent up and live there..

You should sell custom audio equipment. That sounded beautiful.

you're probably judgment proof. there's a good chance that if they repo the car they won't file suit on the debt (because it's not worth their attorney's fees to do so), which means it becomes legally uncollectable once the statute of limitations expires (and in most places the SoL will be started when the lender accelerates the debt and repos the car). they might sell it off to shady debt collectors who will try to collect even after it's uncollectable (which can actually make money for you in certain circumstances).
This is the most likely outcome! If it was a new car say a $80,000 car,,,then they would go after you!!

Have you thought about saving up & buying a used van instead? I have friends who travel & literally live out of their vehicle. There's a whole forum on it:

https://www.reddit.com/r/vandwellers/

If you're not attached to a job or family, it's a pretty easy lifestyle to get into:
  • Pick up a van & outfit it with some shades or tint & so on
  • Join a nation-wide gym or YMCA for showers
  • Get a Luggable Loo for bathroom needs (toilet top for 5-gallon pails, with disposable liners)
  • Stock up some Soylent for easy non-perishable food
  • Park at Walmart for free (many of them allow overnight parking)
  • Get an online job (something like Amazon Mechanical Turk)
Your recurring bills pretty much boil down to gas, food, and a gym pass, which you can pretty much cover with the occasional day-job from Craigslist if needed. That way you can at least tell future employers you were taking a sabbatical to explore the nation instead of living in a tent in the woods with no future plan, you know?

Can't you check yourself in to a good in-patient hospital to find out what is going on in your head? Just find a good one, there are a lot of scary ones out there. You need to figure out what's up in your mind before you go homeless, because that should be the very last resort.

dont be crazy.

I'm afraid that ship has sailed...

All kidding aside OP I do strongly suggest you get some counseling ... having lived in my car for a few weeks I can tell you that the "van down by the river" thing is no way to go through life.
