Howdie~
Running SuSE 8.0 - I can't seem to 'ls' my public_html folder. I can ls the subdirectories but just not the actual folder itself.
I've tried going in through cli and the kde explorer- when I type ls into a prompt and hit enter it just sits there- hours could go by. When I click on the folder the little gear just spins. when I right click the folder it gives me the dialog but selecting properties does nothing. Can't write anything to the folder either but subdirectories are fine.
I've tried logging in as SU but still get the same results. I've re-chowned and re-chmod'd to 755 and made sure permissions and access rights were correct. I'm kind of newb to linux so I'm out of ideas. 'lil help?
